Life Goes On...

The holidays are over. I took down my tree last night, (yes, I KNOW its late to take down the tree!) and my living room is back to its pre-holiday look. Now we race, headlong, into the new year. We already have a LOT of commitments in the next month or so, and I need a vacation.
I'm thinking Scott needs to take me someplace sunny and warm...maybe on a cruise?

The girls are excited about being back in school.  They missed all their friends and their teachers over the holidays.  I'm glad they are back, too!  Now I can have a few hours of relative peace while one is in school and the other plays quietly by themself.

Life is good, God is great, and I am blessed.

Well, it's pretty warm here but it's certainly not sunny so I wouldn't choose now to visit ;-)

I had to take my tree down a long time ago. #1 tiny house #2 real tree.

Try not to wear yourself out!

I still haven't done a thing with my little fake tree or the whatnots scattered all over the place.

The tree isn't the problem; it's wrapping all the little things and stashing them away. Maybe on Tuesday when the girls go back to school.

Just picked up Ray at the hospital and we're watching the playoffs. (Although I think he's more sleeping than watching).

I have no warm weather to send you. We're still freezing here.

How does a Caribbean cruise sound. I'm up for it if you are.

Doesn't the house seem a bit emptier without all the Christmas stuff everywhere? I am always a bit sad when the tree and all the decorations come down.

I know what you mean about the beginning of the year and how busy you are...my calendar overfloweth!

Glad the girls are loving school, and you are loving the routine!

It is kind of nice to be back to a routine. I cannot wait for the day when Caitlin goes to preschool again. Then again, I'll be working! Still, it will be good for her to be able to socialize at places other than the McDonald's Play Place. :)
