Choir Concert Recordings

Okay, everyone:
I've promised you some songs from the choir concert, and Scott formatted them for me, so that I could post them for YOU! :)
Hope you all enjoy them.
The first one is called, "Trading My Sorrows". The soloist is Jacob Gleason, our youth leader. Jacob, you did an awesome job! Thanks for being so supportive of me and our choir.

The second one is called, "The Precious Lamb of God". I am the soloist on this one. Thank you all for praying for me on that day. I made it through the song, SOMEHOW!

The third song is not from the choir concert. Last Sunday the youth group did a skit called, "The Curtain of Blood", and I sang a song at the end of the skit. The song is entitled, "He Sees Me Through the Blood". I especially want to thank Pastor Ray Haner for playing the piano on this song. I called him up on Wednesday night, sang him the song over the phone, and he recorded it and emailed it to me. What you are hearing is a midi file that Bro. Haner put together for me. (Check out www.nopianonoproblem.com for more information on this breakthrough technology.) The youth group did a wonderful job on the skit, and the congregation really seemed to enjoy it! I'm proud of you all!

Let me know what you all think. :) I know you will.
Love,
Kendra

A Busy Weekend, and a Busy Week Ahead

Whew...this weekend has been a bit crazy! Actually, the whole week was crazy. :)
We had a youth rally at our church on Friday night, and I was directing the youth in a skit, so I had to be there. :) I always TRY to be at our youth rallies, but I definitly had to be there last night! I ended up having to narrate the skit, because Jessi got sick (but that's okay, Jessi, I didn't mind) and I also had to sing at the closing of the skit.
The youth group did an AWESOME job on the skit! And Matt Castaldini did a great job as well...thanks, Matt, for pulling the curtain down just right. :) You did a wonderful job, and I'm proud of you.

Today I spend most of the day doing laundry, putting away clothes and packing for our trip to New Jersey. We won't be leaving until Tuesday morning, but I have sooo much to do before we leave! I took time out to walk with the girls down to the park, since it was such a nice day. :) They had so much fun playing. They are so independent now, its amazing to watch them play.

Tomorrow is choir practice, kids' church, and our regular service. We are doing the skit with the youth tomorrow as well as singing one of our new choir songs. And I have to work in the nursery. *groan* My mom says I should just face the fact that I have to do nursery duty. I wouldn't mind except that Sundays are so cram-packed for me that nursery is the LAST thing I want to take on after I'm done with everything else! LOL
Oh, well. Maybe someday I will be free from the land of poopy diapers and crying kids.

Monday I will spend cleaning up the house, the car and finishing the laundry. Tuesday morning we leave for our LOOONG car trip to New Jersey. Say a praye for us, that the weather will be good for driving, and that the girls can handle the trip with no problem.

I will try to do an update while in Jersey, but we will see.

Love to you all.

The Choir Concert

Well...we pulled it off! The concert seems to have been a huge success! We had 124 people there today, which was AWESOME!
Thank you, thank you, thank you, Lauren, Jonathan, Noah, Nate, Sarah and Joshua for coming!
It was so nice to finally meet Jonathan and Sarah and Nate. :) I'm looking forward to getting to know you all.

Sis. Vicki Leninger rocks, people! She directed the choir and we really did a great job! And, man oh man, can she sing!!!
It was wonderful. Scott recorded the concert, if any of the songs sound particularly good, I will post them okay?

Thanks to you all for praying for me and for the concert.

God was in that place today, and it was wonderful.

Thanks again for all the love and support.

Please, Please Pray...

Oh, man, am I sick!
I don't know what hit me, but I am super sick today. I have (I think)whatever my mother had last week...and it is wicked! Sore throat, horrid cough, sinus problems...you name it.
I canNOT be sick right now, people! I need all of you to pray for me! This weekend is our choir concert, and I am supposed to sing, and direct, and I can't afford to be sick right now.
I really need God to touch me, so I am asking you all to pray.

Thank you so much.
