In Retrospect

Okay...just so you all know, I did not type that post earlier today so you could compliment me. I hope you all know that I am NOT perfect or angelic or even very good. Thank you for commenting, and I do hope that you all find someone to help this Christmas, but please, please, know I did NOT post that so you could compliment ME!
(thanks, though, it DID make me feel good.)

None of us are perfect or angelic, but as important as what you did for the man was what you taught your daughter just by doing it.

Thanks for calling me over to your blog.

I kinda felt that way, too, after I posted my "generosity" post. I thought maybe it sounded like I was bragging.

It's a fine line sometimes, isn't it?

It was a great message, Kendra!

Ohhhh, the part Jesus tells us about our left and right hand. I find this to be harder to follow than actually being generous. You should add this to your Christmas challenge of being generous to someone. Try and do it without anyone knowing, even the peron your helping. You will find this to be the most difficult type of generousity, but if you can accomplish it, you will feel even better. I promise!

That is a great story. Even though the didn't write it for the compliments (which are deserved) you certainly set an example for your children and others. GREAT POST.

Rachel, where did you say I was supposed to send the money to for the above compliment??

Kendra, if I inadvertantly complimented you...I take it back. I don't compliment people. Just ask Marilyn.
Okay,,it was a nice thing to do. :-)
