So, I want to take a poll. How many of you feel "jolly" this Christmas season?
I am JUST NOW getting into the holiday spirit. For some reason it has been rather difficult for me to get into the swing of things this year.
I have been listening to Christmas music since October, trying to prepare for our Christmas program at church. I have a huge stack of gifts hidden away in the basement, ready for Christmas Day, and they've been there for a month already!
Is anyone else having trouble being jolly this holiday?
Just curious...it might just be me!

Sometimes it's hard to find the spirit of the season. My little elf on the blog was a start.
Going through the motions helps.

I'm Jolly! I love Christmas...I love getting presents for other people, waiting in line, chasing Gabby around Kohl's while carrying two huge boxes containing baby bouncer seats...okay well maybe THAT didn't make me jolly, why must they keep it 95 degress at Kohl's? ANYWAY, 'tis the season...and I love it!
Count me in on the JOLLY side (only because I am starting to pick up a couple of my Holiday pounds for the season). But really, we have already made most of our Christmas gift purchases... so that ALONE is enough to make me JOLLY! ~ jb///
It's not just you. But, like Granny said, it's helping to get the decorations out and wrap gifts and bake cookies. I'm getting there!
I'm having a hard time too...probably because of how difficult life has been for me lately. Though, I just ordered my girls' gifts and some came last night, so I'm getting excited to get things wrapped. I dug out my Christmas CDs yesterday and will start playing them in my car today. :)
Stress can be a HUGE down fall for not being "jolly"! I'm kinda in the middle. I am, but then I don't care either.

I'm pretty jolly and LOVE Christmas...I've been in the spirit for a while (like all year), but we didn't put up decorations until this week. What is KILLING me is that I'm working WAY too much and don't have the time to devote to getting it all done. That makes me a bit grinchy.
I'm jolly. But I'm always jolly....so maybe mine doesn't count?
It is a nice season though and I certainly love to see other people and how they get so much enjoyment out of it and watching kids, etc. It's a nice time to celebrate Jesus' birthday and reflect on the year.
I am trying!

I cannot seem to really get into "the Spirit" this year...and I'm not sure why....I think it just got here so quickly this year...and also because I cannot go anywhere I don't see any evidence of The Season, except on TV....
I have not yet paid my rent for the month of December and I am unsure as of this date if I will be able to put anything under the tree this year for my three children. That being said, I still feel quite Jolly most of the time.If I start to feel streesed or upset I just remind myself that all that stuffs not important and that we have so much to be thankful for.
i'm not as jolly as i wish i were....then again, i'm in the throes of retail at christmas, so i might have a really good excuse!
